Chrome extension

GBP data where you already are: inside Google Maps

Open a business listing and the AIFLB panel appears under the business header. Categories, services, profile details and one-click audits, without leaving the page.

Currently installed from your dashboard after creating a free account.

What appears inside Google Maps

On any business listing, the orange AIFLB panel shows under the business header with:

  • Category chips: the primary category plus secondary categories, with a shortcut to find related ones
  • GBP Audit: NAP, hours, rating, attributes, Place ID, CID and review link shortcuts
  • Website Audit: runs the scored website audit on the listing's site
  • Reviews Audit and Posts Audit: analyze at least 20 loaded reviews or updates
  • Rank Check: start a rank grid scan for this business
  • AI Tools: open the AI tools prefilled with this profile's data

On your own profile's merchant panel (the "Your business on Google" view), a separate toolbar adds owner shortcuts: find categories, find services, generate or check descriptions, and draft posts.

Installation walkthrough

1

Create a free account

Register at AIFLB and open your dashboard. Your personal extension token is on the dashboard page. The token connects the extension to your account; you can regenerate it anytime.

2

Install and connect

Install the extension, click its icon, and paste your token. Hit "Save and test connection". A green check means you are connected.

3

Open any business on Maps

Search Google Maps for any business and open its listing. The AIFLB panel appears under the business header. Click GBP Audit to capture your first profile.

Which features are free

With a free account: category research (including secondary categories on any listing), basic business information, and a limited number of audits and saved businesses. The Founders license adds full audit allowances, rank grid scans, the complete AI toolset and an expanded workspace. Details on the pricing page.

Permissions and privacy

The extension requests the minimum it needs:

  • storage: remembers your server URL and personal token locally
  • Access to google.com/maps and google.com/search: to read the listing you are viewing and draw the panel
  • Access to your AIFLB server: to save captures to your account

It does not read other websites, does not track your browsing, and does not request Google account access. Captured profile data is stored in your AIFLB account and is yours. See the privacy policy for details, and the data deletion page for how to remove everything.

Troubleshooting

  • Panel does not appear: refresh the Maps tab after installing, and make sure you are on a business listing, not just search results.
  • "Invalid token": regenerate the token in your dashboard and paste the new one into the extension popup.
  • Reviews Audit or Posts Audit finds too few items: open the Reviews or Updates tab and scroll until at least 20 items load before clicking the button.
  • More help: the extension help section covers the rest.

Extension questions

Does the extension need my Google account?

No. It does not request Google account permissions and cannot see your email or drive. It reads publicly visible information on Google Maps pages you open.

What permissions does it use?

Storage (to remember your AIFLB server URL and personal token) and access to google.com/maps and google.com/search pages plus your AIFLB server. That is the whole list; you can verify it in the extension details.

Why does it sometimes miss reviews or posts?

Reviews and posts load as you scroll. Open the Reviews or Updates tab and scroll a little before running those audits so the items exist on the page. Google also changes its markup regularly; we maintain the selectors, but expect occasional short gaps after a Google update.

Is the extension free?

Yes. Category research and basic business information are free with a free account. Full audits, rank scans and AI tools use your plan in the dashboard.

Does it work on Firefox or Edge?

It is built for Chrome (Manifest V3). Chromium-based browsers that support Chrome extensions generally work, but Chrome is the supported browser.
