Draft status: this document is a plain-language working draft prepared by the AIFLB team. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It describes our real practices honestly, but wording may change after professional legal review.
The agreement
These terms govern your use of AI For Local Businesses ("AIFLB"), including the website, web dashboard and Chrome extension. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
One account is for one person. Keep your credentials and extension token private; you can regenerate the token in your dashboard at any time. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Licenses and plans
The Founders Lifetime License is a one-time purchase granting one user access to the core AIFLB platform for the lifetime of the product. "Lifetime of the product" means for as long as AIFLB is operated; it is a promise about access, not a guarantee that the product will exist forever. Variable-cost features, specifically AI generation and rank scans, are subject to included allowances and fair usage limits as described on the pricing page. Free plans include the limits shown at registration.
Fair usage
Allowances exist because AI generation and live ranking data have real per-use costs. Attempting to circumvent limits, sharing one license across multiple users, or reselling access violates these terms. Users who want unlimited usage can connect their own provider API keys.
Acceptable use
AIFLB reads publicly visible business information to help you audit and improve profiles. You agree not to use it to violate any platform's terms, to harass businesses or individuals, or to misrepresent generated content as independent reviews or endorsements.
Third-party platforms
AIFLB is an independent software product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Google's products change regularly; features that read Google pages may briefly degrade when Google changes its markup, and we maintain them on an ongoing basis.
AI-generated content
AI features produce drafts from data you supply. Review generated content before publishing it anywhere; you are responsible for what you publish.
Refunds
Refunds are handled per the refund policy.
Termination
You can stop using AIFLB and request deletion at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
Changes to these terms
Material changes will be noted in the changelog with the date updated above. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
